Celebrate Brooklyn! has announced the Brooklyn’s Soul music outfit Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings will be the headlining act for their opening night gala on June 8 at the Prospect Park Bandshell.
Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings have spent the last ten years touring, writing and recording. Their music and performances have won over many fans including iroot performers like Prince, Beck, John Legend and Michael Bublé. Sharon Jones & the Dap-King will be touring including upcoming dates with Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Trombone Shorty.
