Formed in the summer of 2006, YellowFever (no space, capital F) is Adam Jones and Jennifer Moore. Their minimal art pop was at home at The Whitney in July 2009 alongside Abe Vigoda, Woods, These Are Powers and Vivian Girls and they’ve toured the West coast with Voxtrot. With two self-released EPs and a Hugpatch records 7” (2008), their latest, the self-titled YellowFever, was released in December 2009 on Wild World, owned/operated by New York’s Vivian Girls.

Dark Indy rockers Woven Bones are a one of those must hear bands. Their music is blend of simple punk chord progressions and disturbing, snotty punk vocals that sound like they are bouncing around an echo chamber.
