Dutch trumpeter Michael Varekamp will certainly fire up the crowd tonight. He has been a follower of the great Louis Armstrong since he was 12 and has been performing in bands since he was 13. Michael was destined to be a career musician. Mr. Varekamp is also a lecturer. He regularly contributes to film, radio and tv productions when he is not gigging. In 2001 he received the Kobe Award for outstanding young talent in Kobe, Japan.
