Two-Steppe: The Amigos with special guest Nature Ganganbaigal

The Amigos deliver foot-stomping, accordion-infused Indie-Americana music blending folk-rock, zydeco/cajun, and hot jazz. In a 2014 tour organized by the State Department program, American Music Abroad, The Amigos collaborated with musicians in Cambodia, China, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam. In the spirit of re-opening this musical dialogue The Amigos will be joined by special guest, morin khuur player and throat singer, Nature Ganganbaigal.

Nature Ganganbaigal is a morin khuur player and traditional throat singer. The morin khuur, also called a horsehead fiddle, is a bowed string instrument and considered a symbol of the Mongolian nation. Nature is also a film music composer and music producer and winner of the NYU Film Score Competition.
