Comprised of more than 200 of the New York City area’s most talented teenage musicians, Kaufman Center’s Face the Music is the country’s only contemporary classical ensemble for performers age 18 and under. Developed under the guidance of the acclaimed Kronos Quartet, this program features up-and-coming string quartets performing exciting works by major composers like Terry Riley, Philip Glass, Michael Daugherty, and Peter Sculthorpe.
