Jungle Brothers and Friends, O.C., Kool DJ Red Alert, w/ Special Guests DJ Kool Flash And More

In late 1980s New York, some of hip-hop’s most iconic influences came together as a collective called Native Tongues. Founded by the trailblazing experimentalists Jungle Brothers, the group included the likes of De La Soul and Queen Latifah. Thirty years later, the Jungle Brothers and Kool DJ Red Alert, one of the most important disc jockeys and tastemakers to shape hip-hop, are continuing to inspire legions of new artists, including the exceptionally talented young DJ KOOL Flash. They’re joined by another force of nature, the ferocious MC O.C., who hails from Bushwick.
