Flushing Lunar New Year Parade

You are invited to march with the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce in the 2019 Lunar New Year Parade on Saturday, February 9th, 11am. We will gather at historic St. George’s Church from 9:30 to 10:30am to connect and stay warm with hot coffee and refreshments before heading to the parade site together.

Our reception will feature exciting performances by local groups as well as a raffle and prize giveaway. Our featured performance will include a fencing demonstration by Queens Fencing Club, a community based organization with the vision of spreading the Olympic sport of fencing to individuals of all backgrounds. For more information on Queens Fencing Club, click here.

In addition, Epic 88 will be performing an exciting Kpop medley followed by a Kpop Zumba set. EPIC 88 is a Kpop cover group with the goal of encouraging people of all ages to get up and dance. For more information, follow them at Epic88Energy on Facebook for additional performances and classes.

The Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce is part of a community coalition that plans and organizes the Flushing Lunar New Year Parade every year. The coalition is led by the Flushing Chinese Business Association (FCBA) and the Korean American Association of Queens (KAAQ).
