Everyday People and Special Guests

Dubbed “The World’s Coolest Day Party” by Vice, Everyday People is a monthly day party with a 90s R&B soundtrack that celebrates the black diaspora. Founded in 2012 by Saada Ahmed, Chef Roblé Ali & DJ Moma, the intersectional safe space takes its name from Arrested Development’s song “People Everyday,” and is both a party and a platform, with multiple residencies in NY & LA, even transporting their vibes across the Atlantic to Nairobi, Johannesburg and Cape Town. This summer they bring the party to Brooklyn’s Herbert Von King park.
