With her bighearted, hold-nothing-back approach, Reagon charms her listeners with righteous tenderness. She joins forces with Dorrance Dance, a Bessie-winning company known for opening new vistas in tap. Reflecting and expanding on the complex history of the blues, the company turns simple gestures and musical patterns into graceful marvels without losing the passionate edges of this dynamic dance form.
