This special Culture Connection Anniversary Celebration will take you on a journey through a century of theater music. Alicia Krakauer will perform songs from each decade from the Jazz Age of the 1920s to present day with enough variety to guarantee something for everyone in attendance. She will sing standards that we all know and love and a few lesser known gems too. Song styles will range from classic to jazzy to contemporary; moods will range from heartbreak to hope and joy. The masters of American musical theater will all be brought to life by Alicia: Irving Berlin, Rogers and Hart, Rogers and Hammerstein, and Stephen Sondheim, not to mention a few surprises.
