Trombone virtuoso Clifton Anderson has a thrilling, swinging hard-bop style that he wields for maximum expressive power. Since receiving his first trombone from his uncle Sonny Rollins (with whom he has performed for decades), Anderson has been a member of the legendary Slide Hampton’s World of Trombones ensemble, released several acclaimed recordings, and worked with everyone from Dizzy Gillespie to Stevie Wonder to Paul Simon.
