Cara Samantha is a NYC-based vocalist whose original music is inspired by Sara Bareilles, Norah Jones and Carole King. Cara got her professional start in the musical theater world, but has spent the past several years in the recording industry as a singer-songwriter, session singer, background vocalist and voiceover artist. She plays all over the tri-state area doing private events, weddings, proposals, restaurant gigs and more. Most notably, she got to sing for Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson who gave her a golden ticket to Hollywood Week on Season 12 of American Idol. You can hear Cara’s voice on the Grammy award winning children’s album “Home” by Tim Kubart. She is also featured as the singing voices of Adele, Elsa, Ellie Goulding, Madonna and more in The Key of Awesome’s viral music parodies on YouTube.
