Alexis P. Suter and The Ministers of Sound

Brooklyn native Alexis P.  Suter was raised singing gospel in church, featured as vocalist on many underground house and dance records in the 90’s, and is now fronting an eclectic blues band. Her powerful bass/baritone voice, which National Public Radio called “a gale-force”, adding that “she applies defibrillator paddles to vernacular music.”

A true vocal phenomenon, Suter and The Minsters of Sound have performed all over the East Coast and were regular performers at Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Sessions in Woodstock, NY. Their repertoire ranges from soul to blues to classic rock, giving a high energy and unforgettable experience for the audience.
