Every summer we get very excited about the free concerts made available to New Yorkers. In 2008, We had started the NYC Free Concerts Google Calendar as a way of tracking the upcoming free concerts. The calendar proved to be very useful for myself and others. In 2009, we had decided to start a blog featuring the best free concerts in New York City. The blog had taken everything a step further with daily updates and free concert announcements.
