Ten years ago, The Deli Magazine launched in New York City featuring a little known three member band called Grizzly Bear. Today, The Deli Magazine is covering eleven US local music scenes and Grizzly Bear has gone on to become one of the most successful bands to come out of NYC in the past ten years.
This Wednesday The Deli is hosting a free CMJ showcase at Rockwood Music Hall featuring 24 bands. Music lovers will get a chance to hear some of the best upcoming Alt, Pop and Folk bands in the US.
