BAM Cafe starts a new season of free concerts on September 12 and 13 with two nights of jazz by the Don Byron Quartet. Hip-hop magazine The Source presents “Pass The Mic: A Night of Women Emcees” on September 19 and “International Hip-Hop Night” on September 20. Electronic duo Sonnymoon perform on September 26. The month is closed out with the sounds of Morley who blends acoustic folk ballads with world music on September 27.
