Andrew Tisch was honored Tuesday night in Central Park at the scene of Summerstage with the 2014 People and Parks Award by the City Parks Foundation. The award is given to a New Yorker for their commitment to enriching the city’s parks. After the award ceremony G.E. Smith and his band took the stage for the tribute to The Beatles. And what a night it was of sizling performances. The performers in order of appearance were Willie Nile, David Broza, Paula Cole, Marshall Crenshaw, Jon Batiste, Teddy Thompson, Southside Johnny and Philip Bailey.
