Saxophonist Lonnie Youngblood is not only known for giving Jimi Hendrix his first professional gig. But his band is also known for frequently playing at the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity house at Dartmouth College which is what the film Animal House is based. The Price of Harlem as he is affectionately known as, has performed with James Brown, Jackie Wilson, Ben E. King, Sam & Dave, and other soul greats.
