With her gently twangy melodies, Tift Merritt was championed early in her career by alt-country superstar Ryan Adams. Since then, she’s been nominated for a Grammy Award, and her latest album guarantees her continued ascent into the country music pantheon.
Opening is folk-rock duo Sarah Lee Guthrie (daughter of Arlo) and Johnny Irion, whose sweet harmonies recall the collaborations of Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris.
