Lunar New Year 2016, coming February 8, celebrates the Year of the Monkey. And 2016 is also a Fire Monkey year (more about that here). So you know there will be celebrations with fireworks, parades, performances, and cultural events, throughout New York City. Look forward to Chinese culture being out front this February.
The Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade, the city’s most popular Lunar New Year event, will take place on February 14 at 1:00 pm.
