The 1977-born entertainer and singer extraordinaire has created solo shows for more than ten years. Which took him all over Europe, New York , Australia and Mexico. The German-Dutch is considered Homme Fatal of the chanson and cabaret scene and is almost singular for its interpretation of modern vaudeville theater with elements of cabaret and an irresistible blend of classic entertainment.
He also enjoys working closely with other artists such as Fassbinder film legend Hanna Schygulla, punk goddess Nina Hagen, the Dutch superstar Ellen ten Damme, London Cult band The Tiger Lillies, underground legend Joey Arias and star soprano Claron McFadden.
Since he was 16 years old Sven toured with the popular theater circus “De Parade” through the Netherlands. With the Goethe-Institute since 2006, he has organized “German-Dutch nights” In Amsterdam. In 2008 and 2009, Sven took over the lead role in the Dutch tour production of the musical “Cabaret,” playing the main role of the MC. Since 2013 he also plays the lead role in the acclaimed New York rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch in Berlin and Amsterdam. In addition, the award winning cabaret performer is touring tirelessly with his band or pianist. He also writes columns for newspapers,Emceeing events and writing song lyrics.
